UNC Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, UNC School of Medicine, UNC Healthcare, and North Carolina Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation will be hosting the "Current Challenges in Rehabilitation Medicine" Conference on Friday, June 16 - Saturday, June 17 at the William and Ida Friday Center in Chapel Hill, NC

The 2017 Current Challenges in Rehabilitation Medicine conference will focus on best practices for controlled substance prescribing on Day One and innovative treatment strategies for spinal cord injury (SCI) patients on Day Two. By bringing together leaders in the field of rehabilitation medicine, we hope to continue to close the provider knowledge gap and improve the quality of life for our patients. Topics of discussion will include opiods, patient advocacy, integrated care, neurogenic bladder, mobility and sexual health issues relating to the care of traumatic brain and SCI patients.
