Medical Student Electives

Courses for Medical Students

The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and our Program on Integrative Medicine, offer several
rotations for both UNC and visiting medical students.

PMED 401
This four-week elective is designed to provide medical students broad exposure to the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Students rotate through the Inpatient Rehabilitation Center and select outpatient services depending on the each student’s interests. For more information, click here.

Visiting students
We accept a limited number of visiting students from both allopathic and osteopathic medical schools. Interested students should follow the application instructions at http://www.med.unc.edu/ome/studentaffairs/visiting-student-program.
