UNC Lymphedema Program Begins
The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation has been awarded $40,000 from the UNC Cancer Research Fund to begin a new Lyphedema Program, which began in Fall 2008. The new clinic educates patients on prevention while providing complete and comprehensive treatment services for lymphedema, a common cause of impairment and disability in the cancer population.
