New Evidence-Based Acupuncture Clinic

The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation announces a new evidence-based acupuncture program serving patients with conditions including acute and chronic pain, anxiety, irritable bowel syndrome, sprains and other conditions which may be
treated after consultation.

Jongbae Park, KMD, PhD, LAc, assistant professor and inventor of the Park Sham Device used worldwide in acupuncture research, brings his knowledge of current and most successful practices in acupuncture. Dr. Park recently was interviewed for an article in Health & Healing in the Triangle.

Paul Thananopavarn, MD
, assistant professor in both PM&R and Internal Medicine, provides medical acupuncture as well as rehabilitation for patients with medically complex conditions.
