Rehab Week Raises Funds, Awareness

The UNC Inpatient Rehabilitation Center and UNC Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation hosted the following events during National Rehabilitation Week:

Honours Golf Tournament

Jennifer Pfaltzgraff spoke as the honoree at the 7th Annual Honours Golf Tournament & Fundraiser on September 27, 2008. The tournament raised over $7,000. Proceeds will benefit the TelAbility/WATCH Program within the UNC Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Rehabilitation Reunion

Approximately 130 patients, families, caregivers and health care providers attended the UNC Healthcare Rehabilitation Center's Reunion on September 21, 2008. Donald Kautz, PhD, RN, CS, CRRN-A, assistant professor of nursing at UNC Greensboro, spoke about the importance of hope in rehabilitation.

Open House
