UNC Rehabilitation Patient Featured on TV News

Susan Gisler, PT, DPT, of the UNC Rehabilitation Center (right), was featured along with her patient, Teena Dixon (left), in a story by NBC-17.

Teena Dixon, a patient at our UNC Rehabilitation Center, recently aired on local television. In the featured video and story, Dixon talks about the benefits of rehabilitation, including physical therapy. The story also shows her working out on one of our exercise machines, along with Susan Gisler, PT, DPT.  Julie Henry, the NBC-17 health and fitness reporter, created the video as part of a stroke prevention series, which includes important warning signs for stroke.
