Rotations are available to study the genetic and physiological mechanisms that underlie gender-dependent differences in cardiovascular disease onset and progression. Using a wide variety of genetic mouse models and in vitro approaches, we hope to identify pharmacologically tractable pathways that differ between male and female cardiovascular systems.
