Teaching Opportunities
Students may want to make learning how to teach effectively an important part of their graduate training. Several opportunities are available for teaching medical students, fellow graduate students, and undergraduates under the mentoring of the responsible faculty member. This is usually done after students have finished their coursework, have developed considerable sophistication in their understanding of physiology, and have had extensive practice through the professional development course and in the "Student-Postdoc Research in Progress Series."
