Graduate student Maggie McCormick awarded NC TraCS funding

Maggie McCormick

Maggie McCormick received a $2000 pilot grant from NC TraCS for her project "Investigating a novel biologic in recovery after myocardial infarction."  Maggie is in her fifth year of graduate study under the mentorship of Dr. Ellie Tzima.

NC TraCS Translational Research Pilot Program "was established to facilitate the transfer of research findings to clinical practice in order to improve the health of the people of North Carolina. This program is designed to encourage and facilitate novel clinical and translational research in its many forms."
