June 2009 - Graduate student Mahita Kadmiel has been awarded a predoctoral fellowship from the American Heart Association (AHA) for her project in the Caron lab titled "Adrenomedullin/vascular endothelial growth factor cross-talk in angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis." She is one of only four students at UNC-Chapel Hill to receive a predoctoral award from the AHA this year. The award provides $46000 over two years.
