2012-2013 Michael Pharaon, MD Dr. Pharaon is a 1997 graduate of the University of San Diego with a BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. He obtained his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin and went on to a surgical residency at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Pharaon completed his Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA and joined the UNC Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in July 2012. |

2011-2012 Omri Emodi, DMDDr. Emodi graduated from the Academic Center for Dental Medicine Amsterdam University in 1998 and joined the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery at Rambam Medical Center, Haifa, Israel in 2002. In 2008 Dr. Emodi was Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is currently an attending surgeon in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Israel and joined the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as the Craniofacial Fellow in July, 2011. Dr Emodi is now an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Surgery at UNC. |

2010- 2011 Christian A. Kauffman, MDDr. Kauffman graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Premedicine and completed his medical degree at the University Of Michigan Medical School at Ann Arbor, MI. Christian joined the UNC Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as the 2010- 2011 Craniofacial Fellow after completing his plastic surgery residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas. Dr. Kauffman is now practicing at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. |

2009-2010 James Liau, MDDr. Liau graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies and completed his medical degree at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. James graduated from the University of Kentucky’s Plastic Surgery program in June 2009 and was the UNC Craniofacial Fellow for the 2009-2010 academic year. After completing his fellowship at UNC, Dr. Liau returned to Kentucky and is now Assistant Professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. |

2008-2009 Salim Saba, MDDr. Saba obtained his undergraduate degree from Carnegie-Mellon University in Biology, and graduated from Medical School at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, NJ, continuing his surgical residency at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. After completing his Craniofacial Fellowship at UNC, Dr. Saba worked as a locums physician in family practice for a year, primarily in Mount Olive, North Carolina. He became Board Certified in General Surgery in 2009. In June 2010 Dr. Saba began his plastic surgery residency at the University of California, San Diego, and will graduate in June 2013. |

2007-2008 Stephanie Beidler, MDStephanie graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BS in Psych/ Neurosciences and completed her medical degree at the University Of Chicago Pritzker School Of Medicine. Following her year as a Craniofacial Fellow in the Division of Plastic Surgery, she then completed her three-year residency at UNC, graduating in June, 2012. Dr Beidler is now in private practice in Midland, Texas. |
