Plastic Surgery Division Chief Scott Hultman, MD, MBA has been named as one of the ASPS (American Society of Plastic Surgeons) Visiting Professors for 2013-2014.The ASPS Visiting Professors instruct residents in Plastic Surgery using their clinical, technical and educational expertise, with their wealth of knowledge and innovative perspectives benefiting plastic surgery programs. Visits usually involve lectures, discussion groups, patient evaluation, and patient rounds.

Dr Hultman’s areas of expertise which he will share with plastic surgery programs include Management of hand Burns, Laser Treatment of Burn Scars, Professionalism in Surgery, Abdominal Wall Reconstruction, and Entrepreneurship: Launching an Office-Based Surgery Center.

The American Society of Plastic Surgeon is the largest plastic surgery specialty organization in the world. Founded in 1931, the Society is composed of more than 7,000 physician members and represents and represents more than 94% of all board-certified plastic surgeons in the United States who perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
