Patient Care Mission

     
As a key component of the Department of Surgery, the School of Medicine, and UNC Hospitals, the Division of Plastic Surgery will provide superlative care to the community whom we serve. We will provide compassionate, efficient, and sustainable health care to individuals with craniofacial deformities such as cleft lip and palate, facial trauma, burn injury, hand disabilities, massive weight loss, defects from cancer, and aesthetic concerns. We will maintain our strong tradition of reaching underserved populations. Excellence in education and research will enhance our delivery of the very best medical care, which will be provided in an environment that is exceptionally welcoming, collegial, and supportive, both for those receiving and those providing the care.
