Research Mission

We will achieve excellence in research and its translation to patient care by developing and maintaining a rich array of outstanding research programs. We define success in research by:

     1) the ability to apply this research to patient care, 
     2) obtaining independent funding that will sustain our endeavors, 
     3) presenting this research nationally and publishing this work in rigorous, academic journals, and 
     4) obtaining recognition by our peers as a center of innovative scholarship.
