Vessel Patterning in the Developing CNS: Specific Roles for VEGF-A Isoforms

Project Description:
  Using quail, in ovo, electroporation to manipulate gene expression in the neural tube in order to modulate vessel paterning in that area.
   
Rotations:
  Vicky Bautch: Characterizing vessel patterning defects in VEGF isoform mutant mice
  Larysa Pevny: Modulating gene expression in the neural tubes of developing chick embryos to look at effects on the maintenance of a neural progenitor state
