A study by researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, conclude that poverty influences children's brain development.  John Gilmore, MD, professor of psychiatry and director of the UNC Center of Excellence in Community Mental Health is co-author of the study that was published online Dec. 11, 2013 by the journal, PLOS ONE.   Read more
