Biography
Dr. McClure is an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at UNC and a Physician in CERT-BD's Outpatient Clinic. His career goals are to become a multidisciplinary clinical investigator who can assess neuroimaging measures as endophenotypes for normal neurodevelopment and major mental illnesses, in order to identify their association with variation in candidate genes. Identifying the regulatory regions in risk genes for mental illness and neurodevelopment is the sort of translational research that will further inform clinical studies.
