The George C. Ham Society
About The George C. Ham Society
The George C. Ham Society was established in the early 1980s as a way to honor the founder and first Chairman of the UNC Department of Psychiatry. Aside from honoring Dr. Ham, however, the Society was also conceived as a venue wherein alumni and alumnae of the Department can meet to share memories and experiences, as well as professional expertise. Anyone who has trained (clinical or research) in the UNC Department of Psychiatry or has served on its faculty is eligible for Society membership.
