Summary Statement:
 
Dr. Beeber is an attending physician on the Psychiatry Consultation service. He teaches medical students and psychiatric residents about the psychological aspects of medical illness and the interface between psychiatry and general medicine.  He is interested in short-term dynamic psychotherapy, a form of intensive therapy applicable to a broad range of patients in an outpatient setting.
 
Dr. Beeber also provides short-term intensive psychotherapy for patients of the UNC Mental Health Specialists private practice in Chapel Hill.
