Summary Statement:

Dr. Penn received his M.S. degree from Villanova, PA, and his Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He conducts individual and group therapy with clients with schizophrenia at the UNC Hospitals Schizophrenia Treatment and Evaluation Program (STEP) and the Outreach and Support Intervention Services (OASIS) program. He is also one of the founders of OASIS. Dr. Penn also provides clinical supervision to graduate students and residents in evidence based treatments for schizophrenia.  His areas of research includes social cognition in schizophrenia, psychosocial treatment of schizophrenia and stigma.  You can visit his individual website at the psychology department at: http://www.unc.edu/~dpenn/
