Summary Statement:
Dr. Perea is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry. Her interests include adult inpatient psychiatry, consult-liaison psychiatry, and medical education. She is involved in the development and teaching of resident physician education curriculum for all 4 years of the general psychiatry residency, including problem-based learning, neurology, and board review. She is involved in all 4 years of medical school education, including the Clinical Skills Development course in years 1 and 2, and team-based learning and didactics in the 3rd year clerkship.
