Summary Statement:

Dr. Johnson completed career service as a U.S. Public Health Service physician, in which capacity she provided general and forensic psychiatric services and administered psychiatric and medical inpatient and outpatient programs for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. She joined the Psychiatry faculty at UNC to help establish the Forensic Psychiatry Program and Clinic, an outpatient clinic that provides criminal and civil forensic services, including evaluations and consultations on a broad range of forensic issues to attorneys, the courts, and other agencies. She has particular interests in teaching at the interface of Psychiatry and Law and holds faculty appointments at both UNC and Duke Law Schools.
