Kristin N. Javaras, Ph.D. is a psychology intern at UNC-Chapel Hill and is in the final year of the Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.  She received a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Oxford and a B.A. in Statistics from Harvard University. Dr. Javaras's primary research interests include psychological and biological risk factors for the development of eating disorders and overweight/obesity. She relaxes by figure skating, running and hiking, reading history and fiction, and enjoys the arts and travel.
