Her background in developmental psychology inspires her exploration of how disorders affect all members of the family. In particular, she hopes to examine how eating disorders affect parent-child communication and relationship. She is interested in investigating how environmental experience interacts with the genetic predisposition for eating disorders across the developmental life span.
