How can I participate in a research study?

Since we are interested in the changes a person may experience prior to and throughout the course of a psychotic disorder, as well as the changes a person may experience who will not develop a psychotic disorder, we aim to recruit a variety of people with different experiences for our studies.  If you are interested in participating in one or more of our current research studies, we invite you explore our current studies under the category(s) that best describes your situation.

If you have/or have had a diagnosis of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder, you may be eligible to participate in the following studies:
     ◦ SCIT: Social Cognition and Interaction Training for Schizophrenia
     ◦ MAPS: Mapping of Brain Function in Schizophrenia
     ◦ GeneS: Genomic Psychiatry Cohort Study of Schizophrenia
     ◦ ADAPT: Appetite Dysregulation with Anti-Psychotic Treatment
     ◦ fBIRN: Biomedical Informatics Research Network

If you do NOT have a diagnosis of a psychotic disorder, but are experiencing and/or concerned about "clinical high-risk symptoms" you may be eligible to participate in the following studies:
     ◦ NAPLS II study: Predictors and Mechanisms of Conversion to Psychosis
     ◦ ZIP study: Ziprasidone vs. Placebo in the Prevention of Psychosis

If you have a first degree relative (i.e. sibling, parent, or child) with a psychotic disorder diagnosis, you may be eligible to participate in the following studies:
