Professor Sheila Lee, Fellow Lana Rivers (Musculoskeletal Imaging), Residency Program Director Sheri Jordan, Professor Lynn Fordham, Staff Radiologist Melania Bula (Pediatric Imaging), and Professor Valerie Jewells (Neuroradiology).

The UNC Women in Radiology group has been active this spring. In February, Dr. Lynn Fordham led a discussion on “Setting Goals and Saying No: Why, When & How” for the group’s February meeting.  In March, the group was fortunate to have former resident Dr. Melissa Davis back at UNC.  She shared some of what she learned earning an MBA from Yale to facilitate, “Getting to Yes, Real Life Negotiation Skills.” Almost four years post-residency, Dr. Davis has excelled and is on faculty at Yale University as an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, Emergency Radiology Medical Director and Center for Outcomes Research & Evaluation Clinical Lead. Dr. Davis went on to give Grand Rounds the next morning on “Optimization of radiology practices through evaluation and redesign” and give Noon conference on Emergency neuroradiology. This month, the group is tentatively planning a visit to the Ackland to tour the Becoming a Woman in the Age of Enlightenment: French Art from The Horvitz Collection.
