Find
a Mentor |
||||||||||
One of the most important tasks in beginning a research project is finding a mentor. If you would like ideas and tips on finding a mentor, please take a look at our Resource Library. Requests from Mentors: Researchers who have contacted the Office of Medical Student Research looking for medical students to work in their labs are listed here: NOTICE: We are in the process of redesigning this site. The site will be live 1 Nov 2009. Please check back at that time to choose your mentor. This Office oversees the operation of multiple grants. A complete listing of these grants can be found here. Research projects which conform to the missions of each grant are encouraged and will be given priority. Student Events: The Office of Medical Student Research in conjunction with the Office of Student Affairs will hold informational meetings for students interested in summer and yearlong research funding. At those meetings we will discuss tips on how to find a mentor, put together a project, and apply to the program of their choice. Researchers interested in having students work with them are always invited.
