The Office of Medical Student Research is committed to helping researchers establish excellent mentoring relationships with the students working in their laboratories and research centers.

Become a mentor: Are you interested in becoming a mentor? Send your project information to the Office of Medical Student Research or find out when we are holding events where you can meet students who are interested in doing research.

Current Mentors: Do you currently have a student in your lab? Clink here for messages for mentors for students enrolled in the Carolina Medical Student Research Program or the Medical Student Scholar Program.

Opportunities for your students: A number of organizations provide awards for students who have completed research projects.
