Academic Assistance at the School of
Medicine is broadly defined as support that is available
to medical students who have concerns that may impact
academic success and progress toward completing degree requirements. These concerns may
include (but are not limited to) reading and/or study strategies, test-taking
skills, exam preparation, time management/ organizational
skills, setting goals and priorities, family and/or
relationships, health and wellness, disability, anxiety, career
development, academic difficulty, and tutoring.
As Educational Resources Coordinator, I seek to provide a forum in which students can talk
frankly and confidentially about concerns. I am available to consult with you, help
you define your concerns, trouble shoot and brainstorm,
to help you locate relevant resources, and to assist you
in crafting evaluating and refining your individual plan of action.
Appointments, email or telephone
contacts are welcome, and when possible, I am happy to accommodate
walk-in appointments.
