Welcome to the Registrar’s Office home page at the University
of North Carolina School of Medicine. Our office serves current
students, alumni, and the medical school community by maintaining
the official record of students and graduates, and by providing
information to facilitate the educational mission of the school.
The Registrar’s Office safeguards the privacy of permanent
student records and provides, upon written request, transcripts,
certifications of enrollment and letters of good standing. We also
complete upon request, applications for USMLE exams, degree verifications,
and state medical licensure forms.
The Registrar’s Office registers students for preclinical
and clinical courses and records all grades and evaluations. The
Office also maintains current information on every student’s
academic status and current address and contact information.
