Cutting Up the Cow; Coping with Genomic Information in Medicine

The advent of robust technologies which can analyze an individual’s entire genome present significant opportunities for understanding disease and improving patient care. However, the sheer quantity of information derived, as well as the nature of some of that information present tremendous challenges to its incorporation into patient care. Dr. Evans will discuss these challenges and some possible ways forward as we strive to realize the promise of genomic medicine.
