On the first day of this symposium, the stage is set with a panel discussion and keynote presentation by Professor Sandel. Sponsored by the Parr Center for Ethics, the Center for Genomics and Society, Department of Social Medicine, Department of Athletics, Department of Philosophy, Gillings School of Global Public Health, Morehead Planetarium and Science Center, Whaley Family Foundation, and Duke University's Kenan Institute for Ethics. This event is free and open to the public.
