Public Discussion. Continuing the discussion over immigration reform launched by the September event, a new panel of experts focus on the issues of citizenship, assimilation and national identity at the heart of the debate over immigration reform. Sponsored by the Parr Center for Ethics, the Center for Global Initiatives, and the Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke University. This event is coordinated in conjunction with Latin American Migration: Transnational Perspectives, Regional Realities, a free public conference scheduled for March 26-27, 2010, organized by the Institute for the Study of the Americas.
