Lung cancer patients (or patients needing to be evaluated for possible cancer) are seen by the UNC Multidisciplinary Thoracic Oncology Program (MTOP) in the North Carolina Cancer Hospital, part of UNC Hospitals at 101 Manning Drive, Chapel Hill, NC.

- If you would like to make an appointment for a patient to be seen at the UNC surgical thoracic oncology clinic, please call LaTasha Kincy at 919-966-3383 and fax patient information to 919-966-3475. Patients who need a thoracic surgeon are patients who need a biopsy or have known Stage I-III cancer.
- If you would like to make an appointment for a patient to be seen at the UNC medical oncology clinic specializing in thoracic cancers, please call Vickie Dowdy at 919-966-8128. Patients who need a medical oncologist specializing in lung cancer are those with Stage II-IV lung cancer and those with urgent palliative needs.
