Thomas R. Frieden, MD, MPH, the new director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and former health commissioner for New York City, will be on campus on Thursday, Oct. 8. He will speak in the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Auditorium of the Michael Hooker Research Center at 3:30 p.m. A reception in the Atrium's lower level will follow at approximately 4:30 p.m.
