Lynn Damitz, MD, Associate Professor in the Surgery Department, has the honor of being elected to the School of Medicine Fixed Term Committee. The term will last for the next three years.
This is a great honor, to be selected by her peers. The work involved in this position represents one of the most important aspects of the academic community: faculty development and retention. Without this mentorship and critical evaluation of our faculty, UNC would not be one of the leading public universities in the nation.
