Malawi: Dr. Javeria Qureshi

Surgical resident Javeria Qureshi worked in Malawi for the 2010-2011 academic year, and returns in December for another six month rotation.  Her efforts focus on support of the trauma registry at Kamuzu Central Hospital and assessment of community trauma death. Additionally, her role includes conducting research in conjunction with Malawian residents, providing clinical care to patients, and supporting the education of Malawian surgery residents and clinical officers.
