Krista Todoric, MD

Dr. Krista Todoric holds an adjunct faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics and will be splitting her time between our A/I Clinic at Carolina Pointe II and the Pediatric Food Allergy Research Group (headed by Dr. Wesley Burks). She was born and raised in western Pennsylvania. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Spanish from DeSales University (Allentown, PA) and went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine (Hershey, PA). Following completion of an internal medicine residency at Hershey Medical Center (Hershey, PA), she worked as a hospitalist for one year at Lehigh Valley Hospital (Allentown, PA) before moving to North Carolina with her husband in 2012 to begin her Allergy and Immunology fellowship at UNC. Her clinical interests include immunodeficiency, innate immunity, anaphylaxis, and asthma. Her current research focuses on eliciting environmental factors which contribute to uncontrolled asthma in minority adolescents.
