On site Radiology and Laboratory services.

Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Clinic
Provides ultrasound guided arthrocenthesis using state of the art technology.

Rheumatology Latino Clinic
As part of the UNC Center for Latino Health (CeLaH), this clinic provides all services in Spanish and is directed by Dr. Alfredo Rivadeneira.


On site Infusion Clinic

  • Infliximab (Remicade), Rituximab, Abatacept (Orencia), Tocilizumab (Actemra), Cytoxan, IVIG, Solumedrol, Pamidronate, Ibandronate (Boniva), Zoledronic acid (Reclast) and Belimumab (Benlysta) are currently administered under the direction of the Attending Rheumatologist.
  • We teach self-administration of Etanercept (Enbrel), Adalimumab (Humira), Golimumab (Simponi), Certolizumab (Cimzia)


Clinical trials
Rheumatic disease clinical trials are performed in the rheumatology clinic and at the Clinical Translational Research Center (CTRC) at UNC Hospitals.
