The Curriculum in Toxicology at UNC

Faculty

The Curriculum in Toxicology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was established in 1979 as a multidisciplinary program, drawing on faculty expertise from the Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Public Health and an adjunct faculty of accomplished scientists from institutions in the Research Triangle Park.

The diversity of research opportunities offered by the training faculty is unparalleled by other programs and is a unique strength of the Toxicology degree-granting program at UNC-CH. Faculty members are highly collaborative, serving as role models for the evolving paradigm of multidisciplinary research and providing trainees exposure to laboratories outside the preceptor’s primary institution.
