Transferring Trauma Patients to UNC Hospital

Please contact the UNC Transfer Center at 984-974-4500. They will help facilitate a patient’s transfer to UNC Hospitals.

ONLINE REFERRALS & VIEW MEDICAL RECORDS
Community based physicians and their staff who would like to utilize
our electronic referral portal or gain secure, read-only access to UNC’s
electronic medical records system may request a UNC CareLink account
at unccarelink.org.

 

Please send electronically through UNC Carelink a new patient referral with the pertinent notes for your patient. You can also send the referral through the EPIC Workqueue to # 65936 for UNCH Gen and Acute Care Surgery Chapel Hill. Once the referral is triaged by our nurse we will then contact the patient directly to schedule the appointment.
