David Johnson, MD, MPH

David grew up in Cary, NC and graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in economics. After working for a year doing clinical research at Emory University in Atlanta, he returned to his home state for medical school and a Master’s in Public Health at UNC Chapel Hill. In his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, Duke sports, grilling and playing drums.

After graduation in June, 2016, David will be heading to UCLA for the Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship with a focus on health services research. His fellowship research interests include improving the quality of urologic cancer care delivery through competing risk analysis, shared decision-making, and delivery system redesign to promote value-based practice.
