On Saturday, November 3, 2012, the 12th Annual North Carolina Residents Challenge was held at the Deep River Event Center in Greensboro, North Carolina. Residents from Duke University, UNC, and Wake Forest participate in debates and research presentations. This year's visiting professor was Dr. Richard Santucci, Specialist-in-Chief, Urology, at the Detroit Medical Center, "Modern Treatment of Renal Injury and the Controversy Over Whether to Realign or Not".
Dr. Joshua Langston successfully presented his side of Debate 2, Cryotherapy vs Salvage Surgery.
Dr. J. Patrick Selph successfully presented his side of Debate 6, Autologous Fascia vs Sling Polypropylene.
