Resident Complement Increase Approved

On December 2, 2010, the Urology Resident Review Committee of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education approved UNC Urology's request to increase their current two residents per year to 3 residents per year effective June 24, 2011. Our urology residency is a five year program with the intern year spent in General Surgery at UNC Hospitals and the remaining four years dedicated to urology residency. 

When the AUA Urology Resident Match takes place in January 2011, UNC Urology will be submitting a match list for 3 vacancies.
