Making an Appointment

Your primary care physician can refer new patients to the UNC Urology Clinic for urinary stone disease by calling the clinic at 919-966-1315 or the Urology New Patient Coordinator, Katrina Harris, at 919-966-8802.  When arranging an appointment, please provided the following information:

  • Patient's full name
  • Address
  • Phone number(s)
  • Date of birth
  • Social security number
  • Diagnosis or explanation of the current medical problem
  • Insurance coverage
  • Scheduling preferences

In addition, we will need the following information from the referring physician:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Specialty
  • Medical records detailing patient's medical history and diagnosis

Established patients can schedule follow up appointments by calling 919-966-1315.  Please have your UNC Hospitals Medical Record Number available, as well as any changes in your health insurance.  This phone number may also be used to reschedule or cancel existing appointments.

Patients in need of immediate medical assistance are directed to call the Hospital operator at 919-966-4131 and ask for the Urology resident on call.
