Releases

Planned Releases

The School of Medicine content management system is constantly evolving based upon user feedback.  Every so often we will release updates to the system which may include bug fixes and/or enhancements.  Below are some of our releases.  If you would like to be notified via email about upcoming releases, join our webauthors listserv (if you are a site manager, you should already be a member of this listserv).

Note: The content management system code launches of Version 2.5 were named after baked goods and are in alphabetical order.  This is a standard practice in development (Clarification: Calling the releases generic names is a standard practice - we picked baked goods because it gives us a good excuse to celebrate the launch by eating the baked good that day!).  The previous launch was named Cupcake, etc.

 

Future Releases

There are several larger features that we are planning to include in the system in Version 3. Here are some of the things we are working on:
