Reordering Items
Navigation and content listings can be reordered on an item by item basis.
The order in which items are listed in the contents view of a folder (click on the Contents tab) is the order in which they will be displayed in the navigation.
- Click on the Contents tab of the folder that contains the navigational elements you wish to rearrange. In the following example, if you wanted to move the Client Services navigational element above Classroom Support, you would click on Divisions & Staff (since this is the folder that contains both Classroom Support and Client Services). Next you would click on the contents tab.

- The contents panel shows a list of all items in the folder. The order in which the contents are listed is the order in which your navigation will appear. By default, the system stores content items in the order in which they are created. However, you can use the order column to change the order of these items to your liking.
- Click and hold an item by its handle in the order column. The item will be highlighted in yellow to indicate which item is selected. Then, simply drag and drop it to its new location in the stacking order. The new order is immediately reflected in two places: the contents list and your site's navigation (if the items you are working with have not been excluded from the navigation).
