Undo

Undo is available for undoing one or several recent changes.

If you work on your web site long enough you may eventually want to undo some of the changes made to your site. Luckily, Plone allows you to restore content to earlier states. To undo:

  1. Make sure you are on the content item where you want the undo to take place. (Undo will only show the changes made to the content (ex. page) you were working on when you clicked the undo link.)
  2. Click the undo link which is located in the footer of the page (you must be logged in to see the undo link).
  3. After clicking undo, you will see a list of recent changes to the web site, listed in chronological order. Click to check the actions you would like to undo, and then click the undo button at the bottom of the list:

Undo

Note: Changes will be stored in the system for one week, after which you will be unable to restore previous states.

Re-do

Because even your “undo” action is stored by the system, you can also “re-do” the original action by undoing your previous “undo.”
