Progams housed by OED aimed at improving the learning experience include the Health Affairs Interdisciplinary Case Conference, which provides an opportunity for students across health affairs schools to work together; and the CPX (Clinical Performance Examination), a skills-based administered at the completion of the third year of medical school.

by the UNC Chancellor's Office, The Office of Educational Development orchestrates an annual interdisciplinary case conference for students across Health Affairs schools.
OED's responsibilities include traditional and skills-based assessment. Along
with the AIMS system and varied other traditional assessment resources, the
OED also administers the Clinical Performance Examination beginning in the summer
and lasting into the fall of each year. When timely, registration
and schedules are posted here.
OED
provides academic counseling and skills development for students who
seek assistance. Students may either self-refer or be referred by faculty
