1. Identify and access sources of credible information about medical education issues.
2. Evaluate evidence to be used in educational decision-making.
3. Describe critical issues in the development and management of contemporary medical education.
4. Design strategies for developing and applying solutions to educational problems within the political context of the medical school.

| Learning Activities: |
The student will serve as an intern with the Executive Associate Dean for Medical Education. Specific activities will be determined by the issues being addressed during the rotation month, but may include reading pertinent literature, attending curriculum and administrative meetings, researching issues in medical education , developing assessment or survey instruments, analyzing courses and curricula, participating in educational research projects and writing reports. |

Structured assessment of written products, presentations, and/or participation in meetings and other activities. Formative assessment will involve ongoing monitoring of progress toward achieving learning objectives and completing projects. |
